Headlining the Grassroots Stage will be Glenn Tilbrook & the Fluffers. Other confirmed acts include Peatbog Faeries, Lau, The Treacherous Orchestra, Tommy Reilly, DeVotchka, The Phantom Band, 3 Daft Monkeys, Edward II, The Wallbirds, Kid Carpet, Sam Isaac, The Lost Brothers, and Scooty And The Skyhooks.

Festival co-promoter Joe Gibbs, said, "We're very excited to have long-standing favourites north of the border, Ocean Colour Scene, making their first appearance here. And those with long memories will remember Editors playing a storming set mid-afternoon on the Hothouse Stage in 2005 when things were just beginning for them. They went on record later as saying they would be back and here they are; only this time they've got two albums, including a number one under their belt."

Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival will take place at Belladrum Estate, by Beauly, Inverness-shire on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th August 2009.
