T in the Park announces Blood Red Shoes, Cancer Bats, and The Presets

with Joe Lean and The Jing Jang Jong, Fucked Up, Metronomy, and more

T in the Park which will be happening from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th July has confirmed that the Relentless energy drink will bring a Core Sports Arena to Balado, nr Kinross. Scotland as well as sponsoring the twelfth stage.

The Relentless Stage line-up has been confirmed with Blood Red Shoes, Joe Lean and The Jing Jang Jong, Bombay Bicycle Club, and Haunts playing on the Friday. Programmed for the Saturday are Cancer Bats, Fucked Up, Ghost of a Thousand, Fighting With Wire, David Sold His Soul, Skirtbox, and *Shels. Where as Sunday the stage will host performances from The Presets, Holy Fuck, Metronomy, Johnny Foreigner, Sparkadia, and The Rushes.

The Arena will also present the Vans BMX and skate tour with the Relentless UK Freestyle Moto–x tour and the Animal Relentless mountain bike tour. Each area will see skaters, BMXers, and bikers like Martyn Ashton, Sam Reynolds, and Blake Samson performing extreme stunts.

The Duracell Powerhouse will return to T in the Park campsite with music and DJs like Loose Cannons, Lazer, Hugo, Infadel DJs, The Glimmers, and Zak Frost. The Powerhouse will also host the battery exchange which allows festival-goers to swap used batteries for brand new ones.

Duracell will also power the campsite's Silent Disco, which will be available to Thursday campers this year. Thursday camping upgrades are available until the Friday 30th May and are priced at £11.

With a line-up of around 180 artists playing over the 12 stages. Acts who have been confirmed include the headliners of The Verve, Rage Against The Machine, R.E.M., plus Stereophonics, Amy Windehouse, KT Tunstall, Feeder, The Wombats, The Fratellis, The Kooks, Kaiser Chiefs, Kings of Leon, The Prodigy, Primal Scream, Chemical Brothers, Interpol, Ian Brown, The Racounteurs, Biffy Clyro, Counting Crows, The Pigeon Detectives, The Feeling, Hot Chip, The Charlatans, The Pogues, Ben Folds, Reverend & The Makers, Seasick Steve, The Courteeners, Lightspeed Champion, The Ting Tings, and many more, with more still to be announced. TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT. The organisers of the festival strongly advise fans not to buy tickets from any unofficial sources or website auctions, as not only will they have to pay over the odds but there is a high chance that the ticket will not exist or will be a fake.
