NME (here) have reported that Massive Attack will headline the second stage at the Glastonbury Festival.

The article also adds Manchester's emo-guitar band Elbow have confirmed themselves for the Festival which takes place at Worthy Farm, Pilton, near Glastonbury, Somerset from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th June.

The headliners for the Pyramid Stage for 2008 have already been confirmed as Kings of Leon, Jay-Z and The Verve. The only other confirmed act to play the festival is CSS, at the Park Stage.

There have also been some self confirmations by Hot Chip, Duffy, Jimmy Cliff, Joan Armatrading, Solomon Burke, and British Sea Power. Plus, hotly tipped as appearing are legends Neil Diamond, and Leonard Cohen. However none of these have been confirmed by the organisers.
