The Eastern Haze festival, which started in 2006 and took place at the Somerleyton Hall Estate, Lowestoft, Suffolk in July is the latest victim from this summer's atrocious weather.

In a statement posted on the eFestivals forums (here), one of the organisers, Seb Fosdal, announces its demise, and thanks everyone who worked on the event or attended.

Eastern Haze is one of many festivals that suffered to some extent from the near constant summer rain, with some festivals cancelling before they happened and others going ahead but suffering lower than expected ticket sales and resulting financial difficulties. Hopefully next summer will see the return of sunshine.
