Song07, a new festival featuring some of the finest singer songwriting musicians, taking place in the Pennine hills at Honley Showground, Thurstonland Road, Farnley Moor, Farnley Tyas, near Huddersfield, West Yorkshire over the weekend of Saturday 28th to Sunday 29th July 2007, has confirmed a number of acts for the weekend.

The festival is aimed at those aged 25 to 55, couples and families, who want to see some of the finest singer songwriting musicians at a safe people friendly festival.

Confirmed as playing on the Saturday on the Main Stage are The Proclaimers, Paul Brady, Duke Special, The Holmes Brothers, 3 Daft Monkeys, Rory McLeod, Congo Faith Healers, and Sara Spade / Robert Bray, while the 2nd Stage will have Badly Drawn Boy, Nizlopi, Homespun, Eleanor McEvoy, Peter And The Wolf, Old Man Pie, Christina Kulukundis, Tez Sheals-Barrett, and Lee Broderick.

Performing on the Sunday on the Main Stage are Levellers, Calexico, Cara Dillon, Paul Burch, Waking the Witch, and 6 Day Riot, while the 2nd Stage will have Seth Lakeman, Chris Difford, Thea Gilmore, Nick Harper, Tobias Froberg, Martin Stephenson, Ben's Brother, Aidan Smith, and Vijay Kishore.

There's more acts still to be confirmed. As well as the music, there'll be camping available (opening 8am on the Saturday, closes noon on Monday), real ales, festival food and family fun.

Tickets will go on sale on Friday 30th March. Ticket prices are as follows:-
Weekend adult : £86 includes booking fee.
Saturday day ticket : £48.50 includes booking fee.
Sunday day ticket : £48.50 includes booking fee.
Under 16's Saturday day ticket : £21.50.
Under 16's Sunday day ticket : £21.50.
Weekend family camping : £20.
Weekend camping : £20.
Campervan camping: £20.

The festival has two camping options available at £20 per person: there is the festival 'general campsite', recommended for non families; the 'family camping' is a quieter campsite aimed at families.

The festival can also offer accommodation at Storthes Hall on the Huddersfield University campus, approx 10 minutes walk or 5 minutes by shuttle bus onto site. These rooms are in short supply so book early, use the reference SONG07 when booking.
