Razorlight, RHCP, & Smashing Pumpkins for The Carling Weekend: Reading & Leeds

The Carling Weekend: Reading & Leeds Festivals have announced the headliners for this year - Razorlight (Reading Friday/Leeds Saturday), Red Hot Chili Peppers (Reading Saturday/Leeds Sunday), and Smashing Pumpkins (Reading Sunday/Leeds Friday).

The full announcement (but not the full line-up - there's more to come over the coming weeks) is as follows:

The Main Stage at Reading on the Friday and Leeds on the Saturday has: Razorlight, Kings of Leon, Interpol, Maximo Park, The Gossip, and Gogol Bordello.

The Main Stage at Reading on the Saturday and Leeds on the Sunday has: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Arcade Fire, Bloc Party, Panic! At The Disco, and Angels and Airwaves.

The Main Stage at Reading on the Sunday and Leeds on the Friday has: Smashing Pumpkins, Nine Inch Nails, Lostprophets, Fall Out Boy, Funeral For a Friend, and +44.

On the Radio 1/NME Stage at Reading on the Friday and Leeds on the Saturday are: Ash, Brand New, The Subways, and Enter Shakiri.

On the Radio 1/NME Stage at Reading on the Saturday and Leeds on the Sunday are: The View, We Are Scientists, Biffy Clyro, and The Twang.

On the Radio 1/NME Stage at Reading on the Sunday and Leeds on the Friday are: Klaxons, LCD Soundsystem, and CSS.

The festival will feature a full line-up of over 150 acts over the weekend on six stages.

Tickets are on sale from 7pm, priced at £145 for the three days including camping and parking, or £62.50 for any day (which do not include camping).

Reading Festival takes place at Little Johns Farm, Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, and Leeds Festival takes place at Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire. Both festivals happen on Friday 24th to Sunday 26th August.
