It's now confirmed that The White Stripes have pulled out of T in the Park, after Jack White was slightly injured in a car crash, fracturing a finger leaving him unable to play guitar. As a result, the Flaming Lips have moved across to the Main Stage to take their slot.

As the stage shuffle continues due to The White Stripes non-appearance, The Thrills will now be playing in the King Tuts Tent on Sunday, and Ed Harcourt now moves up the bill of the new X-Tent.

Also, earlier today we heard a rumour that the Manic Street Preachers are set to play before R.E.M. on Saturday, and although the T press office wouldn't comment on this, they seemed unusualy interested in where we heard this from. The info we heard was that they'd play for just 30 minutes. We've no idea if this is true or not.

AND.... we've heard that "an Australian Pop Princess" will be playing on the NME Stage on Sunday afternoon - but we're unsure which. However, as there are no gaps in the timeslots that we've seen for this stage, our money goes on someone using backing tapes. It's not Holly Valance we hear, so if there's any truth to this, it must be a Minogue.

T in the Park has headliners of R.E.M. (Saturday) and Coldplay (Sunday) as well as The Charlatans, Zwan, Idlewild, The Flaming Lips, Appleton, Sugababes, The Coral, Feeder, Supergrass, Athlete and loads more - click here for the full confirmed line-ups

Tickets are now sold out for T in the Park, which starts tomorrow.
