The Brighton Festival of World Sacred Music (BFWSM), is now in its seventh year, and aims to make a significant contribution towards greater understanding between people of different cultures and belief systems through a week of sacred music from around the globe.

Line-up

Rizwan-Muazzam Qawwali, Reem Kelani, Annunciation Choir, Cantor Steven Leas and London Jewish Male Choir, Barbara Furtuna, The Clerks/The Hours, and Unni Løvlid.

High quality local, national and international artists are represented from a diverse and eclectic range of traditions including Christian, Jewish and Muslim faiths. Festival goers should also expect street performances.

The core of the festival features a programme of evening and lunchtime concerts, workshops and community events that take place in some of the many beautiful religious buildings around the city.
