Woodland Gathering - CANCELLED 2012

Woodland Gathering has been cancelled.

A statement from organisers says:

"It is with great regret to inform everyone that woodland gathering ii has been cancelled due to circumstances previously outlined. Unlike a lot of events, Woodland Gathering has no funding, is 110% DIY and relies on pre-sales to fund the event .....With such a strong line up we did not expect the fest to fail.

Indeed we were inundated with people praising the bill and expressing interest, but this did not translate into sales. Events like this cannot happen without support despite the success of last years event. Such a great line-up has now gone to waste.

We ourselves have spent a lot of time and effort on this festival and are very sad to have to cancel a potentially amazing event. Thank you so much for those who purchased tickets and those who gave us support these last few months.....We will now be looking into refunding everybody...Refunds will take up to 28 days to process - please bear with us as we sort this out.

The second instalment of the Woodland Gathering takes place in the forest of Fell Foot Wood, Newby Bridge, in Cumbria on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th August 2012.

Line-up

Faust, Cindytalk, Zoviet:France, Hati, Alexander Tucker, Z'ev, Jo Quail, Black Sun Drum Corps, Gum Takes Tooth, Frog Pocket, Sewn Leather, Human Greed, and more to be confirmed.

DJs include DJ Rusted Edge, Andy Black Forest, Sewn Lather, Polina Y, Black Black Gold.

Tickets

Tickets are priced at £55 including camping.

Radio Black Forest presents Woodland Gathering II a two day festival in a forest on two stages in the heart of the lake district. Expect record stalls, films, talks, DJs, many more bizarre and wonderful things to be announced and of course live music all set against the back drop of the Lake District and the unique atmosphere of Fell Foot Woods.
