Traditionally held in Cambridgeshire, The Willow Festival now heads to Dorset and Canford Park Arena for it's inaugural event in the county.

Happening for three days from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th September 2016, and will feature approximately 100 live bands and solo acts. This year also saw the addition of e new Willow Festival in Northamptonshire.

Line-up

There are names revealed yet, unsigned acts have been confirmed for this year.

The festival is not a big name event and is focused on unsigned or new acts of all genres, although it often attracts bigger name artists too performing R&B, funk, soul, ska and more. So, if you're into live music of all genres, and put music above celebrity, this is an event you should love.

Tickets

Although The Willow Festival is a major event, the festival organisation is a "Not For Profit" entity and remains committed and focused on it's goals rather than commercial gains. Because of this ethos, ticket prices for the public are kept to a minimum and general entry is just £10.00 + booking fee and you can come and go as many times as you wish over the weekend festivities.

14yrs and under will be allowed free entry, but only when accompanied by a parent or person over 25yrs of age. Photo I.D. will be required for both the responsible adult and the child where requested. Parent’s and responsible adults must be supervising and in contact with under 14yrs at all times.

The ticket price is for entry to the festival only and does not cover any other service, such as limited parking, camping, VIP areas, etc.

This family friendly extravaganza has regularly attracts between 50,000 – 80,000 visitors each time it is staged, and is set to become one of Northants premier annual events.

The Willow Festival exists to promote the very best of new, emerging and unsigned live music artists and to help them realise a semi-professional or professional career within the music industry. The spin off is that the public are treated to a great weekend of live music covering all popular music genres including, rock, folk, funk, reggae, world music, jazz, punk, metal, country etc.

As well as the exciting array of artists appearing at The Willow Festival, the event offers many other attractions including extreme rides, kid's fun attractions, alternative shopping experience, fair price bars and world food village.
