The dates for the 10th anniversary of Wakestock are confirmed as Friday 10th to Sunday 12th July 2009, with only one event being held at Abersoch, North Wales.

Wakestock is Europe's largest wakeboard music festival with free-to-watch wakeboarding by day and music by night. Right next to the beach, as well as featuring a competition for the wakeboard title, there are live bands and DJ's for two nights.

The acts so far confirmed include headliners Moby, N*E*R*D, and Dizzee Rascal. Plus The Zutons, Pigeon Detectives, Just Jack, Calvin Harris, Super Furry Animals, Noisettes, Tinchy Stryder, Goldie, Mr Scruff, Huw Stephens, Golden Silvers, Kid British, Ebony Bones, Marina And The Diamonds, Chase & Status featuring Plan B, Takura & Rager, Red Light Company, DJ Format, Goldie, London Elektricity joined by MC Wrec, Chacane, Kissy Sellout, The Joy Formidable, Cuban Brothers, and more. For the line-up details as available please click here.

Early bird tickets were available. Normal tickets are now on sale. A weekend ticket is priced at £90, and with camping £115. A campervan ticket is priced at £50. Car park tickets are priced at £5 per vehicle in advance or £10 per vehicle on the day. A single night ticket will be available nearer to the event priced at £40.

Wakestock welcomes people with special needs. Please call the Wakestock Ticketline on 01758 710000 before the event to book your tickets and they will send an information pack before the event with all the details.

Note: This is a 16 or over event. Photo ID in the form of a passport, driving license, or proof of age card may be required to gain entry to the festival site, and may also be required to prove you are 18 & over to purchase alcohol. Under 16's will NOT be permitted entry to the festival site, even if an adult accompanies them.

The site overlooks Cardigan Bay and across to Snowdonia and has facilities to entertain over 10,000 people each night.

Camping
Camping is next to the festival site and is available from Thursday (from 5pm) to Sunday (until 5pm). Booking fee applies. Camping is limited so it is better to book well in advance as space runs out quickly.

Courtesy buses usually run all weekend between the music site at Penrhos, the wakeboard competitions and Abersoch, Pwllheli and Nefyn, so if you don’t want to camp you will still be able to get home if you live locally.

More information will be here when available.
