Two Moors Festival is a central part of the South West's cultural calendar, with a programme of choral concerts and classical recitals held at churches across Dartmoor and Exmoor, in a wide variety of locations from small villages to large towns.

The festival takes place from Thursday 30th September until Sunday 10th October at various locations across Dartmoor and Exmoor.

Line-up

The programme is 99% put together now. It begins with Beethoven's Choral Symphony in Exeter Cathedral. Mark Padmore and Paul Lewis will be performing Schubert's Schwanengesang; the Aronowitz Ensemble is playing on the 5th with a World Premiere by BBC Guardian Young composer, Mark Simpson; Emma Johnson, Julius Drake and Sophie Daneman are doing lots of gardening repertoire and the whole ten days rounds off with the Lutoslawski piano duo performing Stravinsky's Rite of Spring.

Ticket prices vary from FREE to £25. To book tickets by telephone call 01643 831006 10am - 5pm Monday to Saturday. Outside these hours an answer-phone system is in operation. Alternatively a booking for can be downloaded (in pdf format) from here.
