The fifth annual Royal Tunbridge Wells International Music Festival takes place from Friday 16th May – Sunday 1st June 2008.

This year the theme of the Festival is the Roaring Twenties and the rich diversity of music written during those years ranging from Sibelius to Gershwin, and from Stravinsky to Cole Porter as well as including some of the best loved works from the Classical era played by leading artists.

Some of Britain's most distinguished musicians will be appearing, some at the Festival for the first time: Sir Richard Rodney Bennett, Paul Lewis, Richard Hickox.

For the first time the award winning City of London Sinfonia – one of Britain's finest orchestras – will be opening and closing the Festival.
