Returning for a 5th year Tropical Pressure Festival happens on the North Cornish coast at Porthtowan's Mount Pleasant Eco Park from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th July 2018.

Line-up

The announced acts include:- Toto la Momposina, Afriquoi, Johnny Clarke & The Soothsayers, Muntchako, Pollito Boogaloo, Orchestres Les Mangelepa, Soundspecies, Lakuta, Mad Professor, Awale, Zara McFarlane, Krar Collective, Dende, Solomento, Maracumbia, and many more.

Expect live music from world artists on two specially built stages, and a chance to take part in numerous free music, dance and craft workshops, relax in the chill-out dome or in the healing huts, and spend the night dancing to world class DJ’s in Fandangos.

Tier 2 tickets are priced at £100 for adults, £40 for children (5-15) and are free for infants (0-4)

A campervan pass is priced at £45, a parking pass is £12

There is a separate family camping field, which requires an additional £45 ticket..

The event remains 100% Vegetarian, with an impressive array of foods from around the globe to tempt your tastebuds.

As well as main and acoustic stage performances, Tropical Pressure Festival hosts an extensive free daily workshop programme, with sessions for all ages covering African Dance, Tribal crafts, Carnival costume making, Circus Skills, Argentine Tango, Capoiera, Stilt Walking, African Drumming and more. There is plenty for kids, with a dedicated play and craft zone, plus storytelling tent, all open from 10 to 6 every day.

The 42-acre Ecological Park on the north coast of Cornwall is both a World Heritage site and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
