Stranraer RNLI Park Fest 2015

The 6th Stranraer RNLI Park Fest takes place at Agnew Park, Stranraer, in Dumfries and Galloway from Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd August 2015.

A fundraising family fun day in aid of the RNLI's inshore lifeboats, with live bands, a fair, craft stalls, the marine lake and more.

Line-up

All in all there are 21 acts over the two days.

Friday: Young Guns Night - a showcase of local young talent with Split Shift, Hardwicke Circus, Arcadium, What Abouit Wolves, Murdo Mitchell, and Third Fret

Saturday: Music and fun all day long. S Club will headline, other acts include The Dangleberries, Kelvin Band, Rewired, The Late Twos, Acoustica, Sticks & Stones, The Razorbills, Aura, Freefall, West Coast, Shannon & Kathleen, Danielle Glover, and more.

Tickets are priced at £5 for the Friday and Saturday at only £12.50 in advance or £15 on the gate. Children under 16 tickets are £5. Children aged under 12 years can attend free, provided they are accompanied by an adult.

The event also will have a Fun Fair, Craft Stalls, Face Painting, Lochryan Pipe Band, Stranraer Brass Band, Cheerleaders,and much more.

All in aid of the Stranraer Inshore Lifeboat. The event has raised £35,000 over last 5 events for the RNLI.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
