Stop Making Sense the international music festival with a capacity of 2,000 returns for a third year and expands to a mighty five days of boats, bikinis and Balkan based beats from Thursday 2nd to Monday 6th August 2012. The festival will move to a new location in Croatia a secluded and private bay in the village of Tisno combined with an amazing outdoor seaside club 7km down the road. Showcasing live acts & DJs in the sunshine and under the stars, Stop Making Sense brings London, Glasgow & Paris club & concert promoters to the beachside location.

New location

Stop Making Sense were no longer able to use the site in Petrcane, and moved to a new location in 2012. This new site is located just a short walk around the bay from the small Dalmatian town of Tisno. Tisno part straddles the Croatian mainland and the Island of Murter, linked by a 20m bridge. The town offers a host of restaurants, cafes, apartments and small boutique hotels.

Late nights

Anomalous Visuals and {ourhistory} present an alternative late-night area at Stop Making Sense 2012 with an updated 'chillout' space of early club culture. It will feature imagery and ambient soundscapes from Anomalous Visuals alongside classic documentary footage from {ourhistory} archives. Cine A.M. will appear each night between 1am and 3am for those who want to relax under the full moon with a feast of visuals.

Boat Parties

Boat party tickets are limited to just 200 per boat & are available for around £10. DJs are set to blast each day with a feast of sunshine beats.

Accommodation

Within the festival site itself and built up on the hills overlooking the bay is a small onsite apartment village and luxury boutique camping for those who want to be as close to the action as possible. There are also hotels, campsites, apartments and villas and even boats all within close proximity to the festival site.

Getting there

Tisno is located 45km south of Zadar airport and 65km north of Split airport.
