Stockton International Riverside Festival is Europe's largest free open air festival.

Now in its 28th year, the festival features a five day programme of outdoor theatre, street entertainment, circus, music and dance, held from Thursday 30th July until Sunday 2nd August 2015.

Line-up

This year’s festival launches with an open air show from the French aerial acrobats of CirkVOST, BoO who will enthrall you as they fly through the air in a unique 15-metre high scenic structure made of 368 Bamboo sticks.

Supported by a 1,000 strong community carnival and a star-studded Fringe, SIRF 2015 promises its family-friendly entertainment will, once again, prove worthy of the title 'Best Cultural Event in the North East'.

The festival claims to incorporate an eclectic programme of music and other arts and features a 10,000 capacity outdoor main stage and a programme that takes place at a range of other venues.

A stellar cast of UK and International companies and artists will transform the town with startling and beautiful images including Orkestra del Sol, 451, The Boat, BoO, Tiny Live Art, Instant Light Circus Company, Navrattan: A Quest for the Lost Gems, The Flycycle and Submercycle, Juggling-on-tap, Pelat, Bill & Bobby, Caution Do Not Swallow!, M & Mme Poiseau, Abacus, Sight Specific, 8 Songs, Urban Astronaut, Hex//DiVision, Trinity Fire Garden, Love Struck, Smoke, Rhythm Town, Bees,!
