With music, visual arts, poetry, literature, theatre and cinema, this opens with a ceilidh on Saturday night, folowed by tribute band nights and a Youth night (Wednesday) as this fourteen day festival progresses culminating in a Festival Ball on the last Saturday of the festival.

The complete list of artists has been announced, and details for confirmed artists are now available. They include Baka Beyond, Mighty Zulu Nation, Billy Bragg, Ralph McTell, Neville Staple, reggae band - Legend, The Wurzels, and former Marillion frontman - Fish. Click here for further details.

Ticketed gigs take place at The Guildhall but artists have also been booked for The Western Hotel which hosts a full programme of regular events (many of which are free entry), including afternoon jam sessions, evening acoustic sessions, open mic' nights, a Blues Club (performers TBA) and St Ives Jazz Club staging Kris Gayle and the Gilad Atzmon Quartet. Artists at the Western Hotel include 3 Daft Monkeys, Gally's Folly (playing twice, including the End of Festival Party) and a Band tribute night - On The Road To The Last Waltz (not sure if this is the band or the name of the session).

Visual Arts:
Open Studios: Local artists will again be inviting visitors to come and see them working and their work and the St Ives Theatre have a programme of shows running throughout the Summer, some of which overlap into the festival period.
Theatre:
There are various show including A Slice of Saturday Night (7th and 14th Sept); Oliver (8th); The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomens Guild Dramatic Society Murder Mystery (11th); and evenings with Henry Blofeld (16th); and Brian Sewell (22nd).
