Every summer for the past 42 years, this tiny hamlet comes alive to the sound of some of the best music to be heard anywhere in the country. Held in colourful marquees on a greenfield site at Brunt's Farm, there are stunning views across the valley to the National Trust's Hardwick Hall.

Run by unpaid volunteers as a not-for-profit charity, all the money goes back into the music and nowhere else.

Line-up

Friday Evening: The Lost Padres, Tandara Mandara, David Gibb tbc, Tomorrow's Ancestor, and Liv Torc.
Saturday Afternoon: The Laughing Marys, Maghribibeat tbc, Tandara Mandara, Martha Tilston, and Seize The Day.
Saturday Evening: May Boothby, Steve Turner, Mexican Kids at Home, The Top Shelalas, Dick Gaughan, and SheelanaGig.
Sunday:Andy Kirkham, Jack Boothby tbc, Urban Gypsies, Damien Barber & Mike Wilson, Tarisha & Surahbhi, Steve Tilston, and Praying for the Rain.

Tickets

Early bird tickets are priced at £60 for the weekend, full price £70, and tickets are not yet on sale. Youth tickets for those aged 12 to 17 years are priced at £20. Kids under 12 years old get in free if accompanied by an adult. To buy tickets, click here.

Attractions

Other attractions include children's entertainers, music workshops, drumming sessions, Morris Dancers, Healing Circle, craft stalls, Singers' competition, singaround, Arabic Dance workshop, fire shows, real ales, and wicker structures.

On site

There is free camping and car parking for all weekend tickets holders. The festival opens at 12 noon on Friday and closes at midnight on Sunday.
