This is the 43rd Southport Weekender. With more than 20 years of twice annual events, plans are again underway for another special line-up.
With a full line-up of DJs and live performances, there are 4 different arenas where weekenders can enjoy an eclectic mix of House, R'n'B, Soul, Breakbeats, Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop and Garage music.
The line-up of live artists includes De La Soul, Jazzmataz, Mark Evans & The Muthafunkaz, Jose James, and Sara Devine.
The DJ line-up is as follows: JTony Humphries, Dennis Ferrer, Gilles Peterson, Karizma, DJ Premier, Dixon, ?uestlove (The Roots), Rick Wilhite, Kon & Amir, Steve Sutherland, MJ Cole, Norman Jay, DJ Yass (Paris), Copyright, Jazzanova, Terry Hunter, Ashley Beedle, Teddy Douglas (Basement Boys), King Britt, Shortee Blitz, Ronnie Herel, Simbad, Manny Norte, Greg Wilson, Scott Bradford, DJ Swerve, Dr Bob Jones, Steve Butler, Charles Webster, Benji B, Kev Beadle, Snowboy, Simon Mansell, Terry Jones, Collin Patterson, Andy Davies, Bob Jeffries, Dan Kelly, Devon Daley, Fitzroy Da Buzzboy, Jonathan, and Max Rees.
The price of £140 includes accommodation for 2 nights and 3 days in fully equipped self-catering apartments with use of all site facilities and entry to all dance arenas and live performances.
