South Facing Festival 2024

South Facing Festival is a relatively new and exciting open air concert series taking place in Crystal Palace Bowl in London's Crystal Palace Park.

The festival debuted in 2021, using the same location that had once hosted massive names, including Elton John, Pink Floyd, The Beach Boys. The Pixies and Bob Marley. The affectionately nicknamed "rusty laptop" stage now boasts a blue plaque to commemorate the location of Marley's biggest and last ever London show in May 1981.

Over the past two years, the likes of London Grammar, The Streets, Jungle, Becky Hill, Dizzee Rascal, Supergrass, Richard Ashcroft, Max Richter, and the English National Opera have taken to the South Facing stage for a series of unforgettable shows.

Line-up

26th of July: Love Motion featuring Grace Jones, Roisin Murphy and Horsemeat Disco with more acts still to be announced

27th of July: Future Islands with Baxter Dury and Julie Byrne

28th of July: Unruly Fest with Popcaan with special guests Spice and Rampage Sound with more acts yet to be announced

1st of August: Soundcrash and South Facing present the classic hip-hop line-up featuring The Roots, De La Soul, The Pharcyde hosted by Shortee Blitz and special guests

3rd of August: Balcony Mix London with Major League DJZ and special guests Oscar Mbo, Morda, Andre Power, Nick Summers B2B Charisse C and many more to be announced

4th of August: Yussef Dayes Presents: Summer Dayes

9th of August: Jess Glynne and Cian Ducrot

10th of August: Damian 'Jr Gong' Marley, Steel Pulse, Kabaka Pyramid, Romain Virgo and Channel One Sound System.
