The annual three-day music festival returns to Barcelona, Spain for its nineteenth year from Thursday 14th through to Saturday 16th June.

Line-up

The latest additions are Flying Lotus (playing twice), Simian Mobile Disco, Mostly Robot, Nina Kraviz, Trust, Arbol, Star Slinger, DJ2D2, Brodinski, and Yall DJs.

They join Lana Del Rey, The Roots, Deadmau5, Hot Chip, Modeselektor, James Blake dj, Fatboy Slim, Richie Hawtin, Amon Tobin’s ISAM, Squarepusher, Nicolas Jaar, Luciano, Azari & III, Jacques Lus Cont, Friendly Fires, Metronomy, John Talabot, Mouse On Mars, BBC Radio 1 presents Annie Mac & guests and showcases from Hyperdub, Brainfeeder and 100% Silk, among others. Location

Sónar By Day takes place in the Center of Contemporary Culture and the Museum of Contemporary Art very near to La Rambla. It usually starts around Midday and continues until around 10pm for each of the three days of the festival. This part of the festival features live bands, DJs, multimedia art, record/clothes stalls, demonstrations, a cinema, and other activities.

Sónar by Night takes place away from the centre of Barcelona, special coaches transport festival goers to the SonarPark housing four arenas showcasing DJs, VDJs and live entertainment.

Accommodation

Festival goers will need to find themselves accommodation whilst the festival is on as there is no camping facilities at the event.
