Presenting four days of concerts, sessions, singarounds and a great selection of workshops.

Sponsored by Klondike Folk Arts and Festival on the Moor, The Ryedale Folk Weekend takes place over the bank holiday weekend of Friday 27th until Monday 30th May 2011 at the Ryedale Folk Museum, Hutton le Hole, North Yorskhire.

Line-up

Friday: Opening Manor House Concert with Martin Carthy (who replaces the ill Dave Swarbrick), Landermason and Richard Grainger. Acoustic venue with Dick Miles and Penni MacLaren Walker.

Saturday: Concerts with Paul Metsers, Zoox, Rebekah Findlay, Johnny Handle and Nakaira. Singarounds- Concertina, Spoons, Craft & Vocal Workshops. Acoustic Venue with all day programme and Real Ale Bar.

Sunday: Concerts with Fribo, Richard Grainger & Chris Parkinson, Johnny Handle North Country Songs with Johnny Handle and Chris Hendry, Bodhran, Vocal and Songwriting Workshops, Musicians Workout. Acoustic Venue with all day programme and Real Ale Bar.

Monday: Concerts with John Ward & Mario Price, Dick Miles.

A whole host of artists assemble for a memorable weekend on the moor including Blue Sun, Blind Panic, Steve Dawes & Helen Pitt, Sara Dennis, Fools Gold, Bob Fortune, Foxpockets, Giants Cause, Chris Milner, The Moorlanders, Colin Pitts,Fiona Katie Roberts, Stormcrow and Peter Taylor.

Tickets

Early bird adult weekend tickets (available until 30th April) are priced at £35. Concessions (65 & over, unwaged, student) are priced at £30, and child tickets (for those aged 5-16 year) £15. Day tickets are also available. To buy tickets, click here.

Camping

The festival is set in the North York Moors and around The Ryedale Folk Museum. On site camping will be available from Friday to Sunday for weekend ticket holders only for an extra payment. The camping is right next door to the venue but it is very popular so space is limited. Book early through the festival office at 01287 660060.
