La Route Du Rock is held in St. Malo, Brittany in France. The festival runs from Friday the 11th to Saturday the 13th of August.

The festival has hosted a number of major acts over the last 15 years including Suede, Placebo, Muse, Blur, and The Cure. The headliners for this year all hail from Scotland.

Acts confirmed for the Friday so far are headliners Mogwai, who are joined by Calexico, Liars, Why?, Islands, Friends of Dean, Martinez, Grizzly Bear, Port Royal, and Ulrich Schnauss.

Headlining on the Saturday are Belle and Sebastian. Also confirmed for the same day are TV on the Radio, Radio 4, The Pipettes, Stuart A. Staples, Micah P. Hason, and Dillinger Girl "Baby Face" Nelson.

The final day is headlined by Franz Ferdinand, who are joined by Katerine, The Television Personalities, The Spinto Band, Band of Horses, Isobel Campbell, and El Perro Del Mar.

The cost of the festival is £112 which includes the festival ticket, camping, ferry and bus shuttles.
