Boardmasters takes place over five days from Wednesday 7th to Sunday 11th August 2013 at a cliff-top location overlooking Watergate Bay, and Fistral Beach.

Boardmasters is held on three sites across Newquay offering action sports including surf, skate, bmx, plus daily live music acts and the music festival.

Line-up

Latest additions are Sweet Baboo, Saint Raymond, Isaiah Dreads, White Bicyles, Ben Jordan, Joss White, Rich Stephenson, Stevie Ray, and Franklin.

Beach Sessions headliners are The 1975, and Benjamin Francis Leftwich, with The Lake Poets, and Steve Smyth, in support. There are no acts confirmed yet for the Daytime Music Sessions.

Tickets

An adult weekend ticket for 3 days is priced at £99, and £109 with camping. Deposit options are available. Day Tickets will go on sale on Friday priced at £39, and Beach Sessions tickets are priced at £15 for either day. A weekend car park pass is £10, and a campervan pass is priced at £25. Children aged 10 years and under can attend free but require a ticket.

Skate & BMX Competitors

From the PRO skateboard world you can expect to see the likes of Sam Pulley, Frank Faria, Ben Grove, James Threlfall, Adam Keys, Salar Kooshki, Isaac Maxwell amongst others. BMX enthusiasts can look forward to PROs including likes of Alex Coleborn, Tom Justice, Angus Gough, Anthony McGuirk, Luke Padgett and Tom Isted all competing for their share of the £10k prize pot.

Camping

Official festival camping is expected to return on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th August situated within throwing distance of the Watergate Bay site.

The event is expected to commence Wednesday 7th August at the Fistral Site with the opening party and the first Beach Session. The trade village will not be open that day. The trade village including the Beach Bar will open Thursday 8th August until Sunday 11th August.

Elsewhere at Fistral is the trade village and a beach bar serving up pints looking over all the action on and around the beach. As evening sets in the bar rearranges itself into a live music venue in the shape of the Beach Sessions.

Fistral Beach, the surf capital of Cornwall, for sun, sea and surf action will host an array of surfers competing in the UK Pro Surf Tour. With an eclectic range of competitive categories, everyone from pro riders to groms can take part in this years competition with the formats to include: Men's Open, Women's Open, Men's Longboard, Pro Junior (Under 20's), Under 16's Mixed and Air Show.

Lining Fistral's sandy shores is the popular beach bar, live music performances, boutique stalls, art installations including surf art, photography and films and top action from the Boardmasters Skate and BMX ramps.

Fistral will host the surf, skate and BMX competitions on the beach front topped off with live music every night in the Beach Bar. In addition to the cliff tops of Watergate Bay hosting the music festival.
