RECON is a Music, Arts and Film festival taking place from Sunday 22nd to Sunday 29th September at various venues across Bradford and Leeds.

Line-up

New additions Dan Friel, The Five Star Family Elan, ;Etai Keshiki, Mucky Sailor, Herb Diamante, Perspex Flesh, Vibracathedral Orchestra & Andrew Lampert, The Bongoleeros, Kogumaza, Plurals, N.Racker, Minimal Bouge, Grew Quartet, These Feathers Have Plumes, Mutual Process, and Cara Tolmie.

They join Gang of Four, Oneohtrix Point Never, Skullflower, Vibracathedral Orchestra, Hookworms, Cut Hands, Diamond Roadshow, Bilge Pump, Cowtown, That Fucking Tank, Black Pus (Lightning Bolt), Kogumaza, Penny Rimbaud & Gee Vaucher, Cara Tolmie, The Family Elan, White Manna, Cold Pumas, Cut Hands, Helm, Shut Up Little Man, Tropicalia, Tape Deck Orchestra, Gareth S Brown, Sauna Youth, Tense Men, and Kult Country, and more to be announced.

Ticket prices vary depending upon event, from £3 to £20.

A series of pioneering Music, Art and Film events culminate in the week of RECON taking place across multiple sites and venues across the two cities. Venues include The Brudenell Social Club, Howard Assembly Rooms, Hyde Park Picture House, The New Bradford Playhouse, Delius Arts and Cultural Centre, Wharf Chambers and the public domain.

22 Sept: Multi-Drummer Installation - What We Talk About When We Talk About Drums (3pm @ Leeds Town Hall Victoria Gardens) a FREE event on the opening day.

24 Sept: (Film, performance and Q+A) Lessons from Gulam: Asian Music in Bradford @ Delius Arts and Cultural Centre (Bradford, 7pm) FREE but booking required)

26 Sept: Film: The Diamond Road show (Digger Barnes + Pencil Quincy) @Hyde Park Cinema, Leeds FREE

27 Sept: (Film, and performance) The Diamond Road show + The Horn The Hunt @The New Bradford Playhouse, 10pm £3

28 Sept: Midnight screening of The Mask 3D @ Hyde Park Picture House, Leeds, 11.45pm £6
