Northern Pride the "biggest free LGBT festival in the North East", returns as a three day event next year moving to Town Moor with a second stage in Times Square. In 2014 the event takes place on Friday 18th to Sunday 20th July 2014 in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Line-up

Friday: Champagne & Showtunes - Songs from the shows, Dee Stokes, Alison Jiear, Faye Tozer, Stacey Jackson, Sonia Strong, Steven Paulden DJ, Opening Speeches, and Rachelle Rhienne.

Saturday: Angie Brown, Faye Tozer, Joseph Whelan, Sinetta, Shayne Ward, Mila Falls, Cris Howe DJ, Kelly Wilde, Rihanna Reloaded, Betty Legs Diamond, Eliza Doe, Dan Joseph DJ, Kelly Wilde, Ian Macleod, Gaynor Marshall, Opening Speeches, Northern Proud Voices, Allan Jay.

Sunday: Tess Tickle & The Draggets, Angie Brown, Vengaboys, Jo O'meara, Lorraine Crosby, Jersey 4, FriXion, Lloyd Daniels, Pride Radio DJ, Totally GAGA, Kerrianne Covall.

20,000 people are expected in the Pride Parade, which starts at Newcastle Civic Centre before noon on Saturday. The parade will go through the city and end at the Town Moor.

Friday evening will offer some main stage entertainment, Saturday will be the main Pride day, with more entertainment on Sunday .

The Times Square FREE entertainment takes place each night from 6.30pm till 10pm .
