Posivitus Festival takes place in Salacgriva, Northern Latvia on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th July 2009.

It is the largest music festival in Baltics and the two day festival offers festival goers a varied programme of international bands, and up coming european acts.

Acts confirmed for 2009 include Moby, Sinead O'Connor, Peter Doherty, Ebony Bones, Brainstorm, and Prata Vetra.

A two day ticket with camping is priced at £43, or £39 without camping. To buy tickets, click here.

The festival also offers other activities besides the main stages - theatre, cinema, plenty of food and drink vendors, and circuses.

The festival aims to appeal to all european festival goers and offers campinmg and is only 100 km from Riga by via the Baltica highway E67 and approximately 15km from Estonian border, and 70km from Estonia's liveliest summer resort town Parnu. Riga is also the nearest airport.
