Following the success of the last three years, and claiming to be Europe's biggest gathering of Elvis artistes and their fans, this event offers 3 days of fun and music all over the normally sleepy seaside town of Porthcawl, roughly halfway between Cardiff and Swansea.
The programme is likely to include an official Festival Launch on Friday with a champagne reception and the chance to meet the artists and celebrities, plus an Elvis Disco Party until around 1am.
Saturday is expected to include the Best Festival Elvis Competition and an award show for Elvis Tribute Artists followed by an Elvis Disco Party into the early hours. On Sunday, the Chat Show, Up Close and Personal, with Elvis celebrities, might be repeated. Other events take place across the afternoon and into the evening culminating in an Elvis-themed party.
A VIP ticket package (around £95) is available with admission to all official shows, reserved, prime floorshow seats, T-Shirt, entry to the Pavilion VIP Bar and invitations to aftershow parties on all three nights.
