Polperro Festival 2009 takes place in the village of Polperro, in Cornwall from Saturday 10th until Sunday 28th June. The main music part of the festival takes place in the Festival which has FREE entry all week and also the local pubs who book their own music on top of festival itself.

This line-up so far includes the headlining band the Rollin' Clones on Sat 27th June at 3.15pm, as well as Blindfold Garden, Fezheads, Mad Dog Mcrea, Gypsy Jazz, Elowen, Gumbo Flyers, Mike Schaeffer, Bob South, Opium, Mercury Moon, JD and Coke, and Eclipse. The event also has slots throughout the week to play under the marquee on Big Green (the square).

Some of the events on during the week include live music of all genres daytime and evening both indoors and outside. Street theatre and entertainment, parades, Morris Dancers, arts and crafts, drama, poetry, children's entertainment, coastal walks, a treasure hunt, a new music day, and a schools day.

This annual community event is run by volunteers for the benefit of this historic and beautiful Cornish village and it's surrounding environment.

There is no camping specifically for this event, but there are plenty of camping, and accommodation options in the area.

Polperro used to hold the festival on the 10th July to celebrate its Patron Saint, St Peter. On the eve of the festival a bonfire was built on the beach. This was the Solstice fire, originally held on mid-summers night, but changed when the calendar was altered in 1751.
