A weekend of music, dance and workshops from Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd March 2009.

Concerts and workshops will be held in venues throughout the city, including the Town Hall and the Holywell Music Rooms, as well as local pubs and clubs. The festival also spills into the city streets, with events happening throughout the weekend.

Many well-known names from the folk world are represented, in this, the festival's sixth year. Many of the acts have already been confirmed, including Kate Rusby with Donald Grant & Red Skies String Ensemble - SOLD OUT, Lau, Dhol foundation, Spiers & Boden, Moonrakers, Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, and 'A Bit of a Do' (Irish music and poetry from Mick Henry, Bernard O'Donaghue & Tom Paulin), plus many more artists to be confirmed. The festival also includes Family Fun, a Grand Parade with Massed Morris Dancers plus ceilidhs, workshops, sessions, and a trade fair. Concerts and workshops take place both during the afternoon and evening. Refreshments - including a real ale bar - will be available throughout the weekend.

Accommodation is available at B&Bs, caravan and campsites in and around the city of Oxford. Indoor camping will not be available this year.
