Ireland's annual multi-stage music festival weekend which takes place at Punchestown Racecourse, Naas on Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th July 2007.
Confirmed as headlining the Main Stage on the Saturday are Snow Patrol, and The Killers on the Sunday. Other acts over the weekend include Muse, Scissor Sisters, Arcade Fire, My Chemical Romance, Daft Punk, Razorlight, Bloc Party, Kings of Leon, The Kooks, Interpol, The Fratellis, Babyshambles, Klaxons, CSS, James Morrison, Tori Amos, Amy Winehouse, Goo Goo Dolls and more - click here for the full details (as available). There's more than just music at Oxegen. You can try and have a game of Giant Twister or Campsite Karaoke, or hang out in the MySpace Summer Daze Bus (an antique Routemaster that has been given a makeover and will host impromptu parties).
The Bacardi B-Live arena will return with a mix of music through collaborations of DJ's, musicians, live vocalists and percussionists. Saturday sees acts such as Groovement, Quantic, and Spontaneous Construction. On Sunday, performances will come from Disconauts, Elektrons, and Razor.
Tickets are SOLD OUT. A weekend ticket with camping costs €197.50. A day ticket is euros 96.50 and two day tickets with no camping cost €177.50. All prices include VAT and booking fee.
Campers can get a free onsite parking ticket with every four camping tickets purchased, or pick one up later at any Ticketmaster outlet by presenting four camping tickets. Alternatively parking ticket can be bought in advance for €15 online at www.ticketmaster.ie or from any Ticketmaster outlet (€25 when purchased on site).
You must have an OXEGEN parking ticket and OXEGEN camping tickets in order to park at the OXEGEN site. Festival-goers with a day ticket or two separate day tickets can take advantage of free parking at Goffs Park'n'ride, where there will be free bus shuttles to and from the festival site. Please note OXEGEN 2007 is strictly for over 17s only, ID is required and will be checked before entry is allowed.
NOTE:- AGE RESTRICTIONS. Strictly 17s and over only - ID required and will be checked vigorously before entry. Under 17's will only be admitted if accompanied by guardian/friend/relative 25 years or over who will sign for and accept responsibility for said person. Policy will be strictly enforced - persons who purchase and ignore conditions will be refused entry with NO refund.
