The eighth Crystal Palace Overground Festival returns to Crystal Palace from Thursday 26th to Sunday 29th June to showcase best local live music, poetry, theatre, comedy, film, food and fashion.

Line-up

Latest addition is Tony Hatch.

Wednesday: Acts include Fascinating Rhythm Big Band, The Lovebirds, and Piano Pete.

Thursday: Acts include Longfellow and Co, Tom Walker, Stone Faced Travellers, Hipster Ray, Domali, The Monday Club, DJ Mighty Craic, and Twenty-Five.

Friday: Brendan Cleary, David Crystal, Tamsin Kendrick, Jazzman John Clarke, Emma Ako, Zuli Stenson, Wondermare, Sergei Podobedov, The Gremlins, DJ Mighty Craic, Metamono, Twenty-Five, Ragged Glory, and Buenavista Social Club Dedication.

Saturday: DJ Kobayash, Gypsy Hill, Twenty-Five, Rene and his Cuban Combination, and Saulfingers.

Sunday: Longfellow, Lorraine Graham, Mangoseed, Scarlett’s Roses, Franck & Friends, Hipster Ray, Lost in Space, Bumble & The Flower, Duke Bradley and the Crystal Palace Community Choir, Utsarjam, Tape to Tape, Upper Norwood Salvation Army Band, Ron McElroy, SPAM clarinet quartet, Charlotte Way, Kate Andrews, The Sound of the Ladies, Joanna Watts and Chris Fish, Waka Hasegawa, Dandlemänn, Kate Proudlove, Brother G and the Trouble, Dakota Jim and His Band, The Alma, Twenty-Five, and Phillipa Leigh.

Festival highlights include performing arts, crafts, sports and kids' activities, gourmet food and drink stalls and the best local bands on the Antenna music stage in Westow Park.

The event will start with 'fringe' events on Thursday and Friday around Crystal Palace, in anticipation of the main big festival weekend. Westow Park will be the main festival hub on Saturday, with Sunday focusing around the Upper Norwood Triangle.

Thursday see Channel 4′s Random Acts take over Coopers Yard in a night of short film fun. Friday the open air cinema presents the debut feature by Crystal Palace legend Richard Ayoade from the IT Crowd.

Bring out the bunting, hairspray that beehive and ruffle those petticoats as Vintage Up the Palace! is coming this summer.
