The nineteenth Otley Folk Festival takes place over 4 days from Thursday 15th to Sunday 18th September 2011.

It's a folk festival that's said to have a distinctly family feel, with a variety of events taking place at different venues around the picturesque market town of Wharfedale between Ilkley and Leeds, on the A660.

Line-up

This year's line-up includes the following artists: Chumbawamba, Urban Folk Quartet, Bob Fox, Rosie Doonan & The Snapdragons, Grace Notes, Stanley Accrington, Steve Turner, Duncan McFarlane Band, Roger Davies, Bayou Gumbo, Robin Garside, Maggie Boyle, John Kirkpatrick, Blackbeards Tea Party, Gilmore-Roberts, Jon Harvison, Johnny-Jump-Up, My Sweet Patootie, In No Particular Order, Matt Nelson Trio, Philip Cockerham and David Bowie, Zeke Deighton, John Birkby, Plum-Hall, The Hall Brothers, Last Orders, Lime Scurvy, The Heathen Kings, Bloomer,Dyson,Hunt, Dave Vermond, Gerry McNeice, Jon Palmer Band, Five & Dimers, Phil Langran, Mahogany Monkey, Bang On, and Howard & Harriet.

Tickets

Tickets are priced at £50 (£45 - concs) for adults for the whole weekend, teen tickets are priced at £26 for 12-15yr olds. Day tickets are priced at £24 for Friday and £30 for Saturday or Sunday. Camping is priced at £6.50 per person per night. To buy tickets, click here.

The weekend ticket covers all events from Friday evening through to Sunday night. There may be a small extra charge for Thursday's events which kick off with an acoustic evening at the Red Lion, a concert at Korks Wine Bar (the home of Otley Folk Club) and a folk night at the Cricket Club.

There are also callers, dance troupes and Morris sides, workshops, and real ale.
