The eighteenth Otley Folk Festival takes place over 4 days from Thursday 16th to Sunday 19th September 2010.

It's a folk festival that's said to have a distinctly family feel, with a variety of events taking place at different venues around the picturesque market town of Wharfedale between Ilkley and Leeds, on the A660.

Line-up

This year's line-up includes the following artists: Vin Garbutt, Jez Lowe & The Bad Pennies, Martha Tilston, Pete Morton, Flossie Malavialle, Les Barker, Duncan McFarlane Band, Clive Gregson & Patsy Matheson, Vicki Swan & Jonny Dyer, Anna Shannon, Maggie Boyle, Emma & The Professor, Boyle Tyrrall Boyle, Bayou Gumbo, Nick Hall & Michelle Plum, Gloria, The Hall Brothers, Brian Peters, Dave Vermond, Jim Lawton, Black Wing, Sue Burgess & Paul Wrigley, Cartouche, Gerry McNeice, Silsden Singers, Mike Wood, Monkey's Fist, Jon Palmer, Gerry Cooper, Copper Kettle, Lime Scurvy, Mahogany Monkey, and Howard & Harriet.

Tickets

Tickets are priced at £45 (£40 - concs) for adults for the whole weekend, teen tickets are priced at £25 for 12-15yr olds. Day tickets are priced at £24 for Friday and £30 for Saturday or Sunday. Camping is priced at £6.50 per person per night. To buy tickets, click here.

The weekend ticket covers all events from Friday evening through to Sunday night. There may be a small extra charge for Thursday's events which kick off with an acoustic evening at the Red Lion, a concert at Korks Wine Bar (the home of Otley Folk Club) and a folk night at the Cricket Club.

There are also callers, dance troupes and Morris sides, workshops, and real ale.
