Funk The Format is an over-18s festival specialising in soul, hip hop, disco, funk, reggae, jungle, jazz and related sounds. The sister festival to Funk The Family (approaching its fourth year), Funk The Format 2016 launched in Hove Park to over 4,000 music lovers. Team FTF are known and loved for creating a beautiful atmosphere through carefully selecting live music, DJs, entertainment, activities, walkabout acts, and locally-sourced food.

Founded by former music journalist and Brighton radio presenter Lucy ‘Elle J’ Small, the festival’s focus is on good vibes, good music and good fun; all set in Hove Park- a stones throw from Hove mainline station.
