The Great Estate is billed as a cultural camping experience, held on the outskirts of the Edinburgh Fringe in Vogrie Country Park in Midlothian. The experience offers a line-up of comedy, live music, theatre performance and workshops.

The not-for-profit festival with all proceeds going to the Scottish Youth Theatre takes place from Tuesday 16th to Sunday 21st August 2016.

Line-up

The Festival will feature music from Møgen, Eyes Of Others, Issy Ferris, Hobo & The Hippies, London Disco Society, Regression Sessions, Beth Lane, Leao, and more. Plus performance from The Flannagan Collective, and Port Bazaar. Comedy from Mark Watson, Nish Kumar, Bilal Zafar, Annie Mcgrath, Gareth Richards, Jack Barry, and Ahir Shah. There will also be workshops, and art installations.

Early bird tickets for Friday 19th to the Sunday 21st are priced at £115 for an adult, an Infant (0-2 years old) tickets are free, a child (aged 3-10 years) weekend ticket is priced at £8,a young person (11-17 years) weekend ticket is priced at £85, and a car park pass is free. Bell tents and other options are also available a 6 days and nights ticket is priced at £230 per adult.

The Great Estate offers a range of camping options from a standard pitch where you can set up your own tentto a camper van pitch, or even a luxury and furnished Bell Tents which are available to rent per night.

The Great Estate provides a regular daytime shuttle service to Edinburgh city centre.
