The third At The Playground is a two day festival taking place on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th May in the sleepy seaside town of Whitehaven.

Line-up

Headliners for this years festival are The Enemy and The View. Other acts include The Farm, Sound of Guns, Dave Burn (Ex Detroit Social Club), Danny Mahon, The Tapestry, The Book Club, 12 Dirty Bullets, Deadbeat Echoes, The 10:04s, Micky P Kerr, The Carnabells, The Moon Kids, See Emily Play, The Wulfs, Jolan, Jodie Murphy, The 45s, The Arkham Karvers, John Mackie, Ken Lavender And The Sunshine, Eocence, Papa Quebec, Project9, Bad Bad Me, Gav McKew, Ryan Kittop, Emma Dockeray, Sarah Dockeray, Ryan Jarvis, Cat Like Thief, Kenny And Curly, Tom Salmon, Claire Jackson, Arran George, 100 Hand Slap, House Of Three Hands.

Tickets

Tickets are priced at £35 for full weekend, £27 for Saturday, £20 for Friday. Children aged under 12 tickets are priced at £5 on either Friday OR Saturday. Toddlers can attend for free. To buy tickets, click here.

One weekend every summer the playing fields of Whitehaven Rugby Union Club and Whitehaven Cricket Club burst into life with a musical feast that suits all ages. At The Playground festival blends the best of Cumbrian talent, old favourites, new and upcoming bands as well as the music elite.
