Tidworth Festival 2009 has been cancelled due to advanced ticket sales not generating enough funds to cover the set up costs for the Festival. As a direct result of this people including, sponsors, suppliers and ticket purchasers will be out of pocket. Community Dynamix Ltd is now in administration and further details will be available on the website.
The three days of the festival each offer a different theme:
Friday 24th July: Music In Flight - with the London Pro Arte Orchestra, conducted by Murray Stewart, and the Prince of Wales's Division Band playing classical music, together with the Romsey Choral Society, whilst a variety of aircraft and formation teams perform displays synchronised with the music.
Saturday 25th July: Status Quo
Sunday 26th July: Family Fun Day Featuring The Troggs - An action packed Family Fun Day full of variety. Featuring stage acts with performances from new and up and coming bands with The Troggs headlining, falconry displays, parachuting by The Black Knights; motor cycle display team The Flying Gunners, a dog show, trade stands, children's area and more.
Tickets are priced at £32 for adult Friday tickets with Child tickets priced at £16, with Picnic, Garden Area and Hospitality Tickets also available. Saturday tickets start from £32, Sunday tickets are priced at £5 for those aged over 12, £3 for those aged 12 years old and under. Children aged 5 and under can enter for free.
