Sutton Benger 2007
last updated : Fri 27th Apr 07

The sleepy village of Sutton Benger's annual Extravaganza started three years ago as a way to raise some funds for its new cricket team.

The programme has not been announced in full but both days include a Green Village with stalls and food outlets and there's a small funfair on Saturday too.

Music on the John Peel Stage begins at 5.30pm on Friday; and on Saturday from 3.30pm onwards there is jazz in the afternoon, and a mystery RAF fly past. The evening line-up offers "The Battle of Britain Last Night At The Proms" with the seventy piece Wessex Concert Orchestra supported by special guests (two sopranos and a mezzo) followed by a spectacular Fireworks Finale.

TICKETS
These are expected to be available from local outlets including the Chippenham and Malmesbury Tourist Board, the Sutton Benger Post Office, the Bell House in Sutton Benger and The Mermaid pub.
