The first ever Folk in the Mart will be held at Skipton Auction Mart, and promises to deliver a mix of traditional and cotemporary music.
The event will be held on Saturday 7th July 2007, and will feature acts such as Norma Waterson, Martin Carthy and Chris Parkinson, Martin Simpson, Jez Lowe, and 3 Daft Monkeys, and more...For the full list of acts to date click here
The day will be split into two with an 'afternoon' stage (from 12.30pm) and an 'evening' stage (from 7.30pm).
As well as live music there will be workshops, storytelling, meet the artist sessions & craft sales.
Tickets are priced at £25 for the whole day (£22 concessions) if booked in advance or £30 on the day (£27 for concessions). Tickets for the evening stage only cost £17 (£15 concessions) if booked in advance or £20 on the day (£18 concessions). Tickets for the afternoon stage cost £15 (£13 concessions) if booked in advance or £17 (£15 concessions) on the day.

There is limited camping and caravan spaces available. It costs £10 for both Friday 6 July & Saturday 7 July.
