Northampton Music Festival 2015

Northampton Town Music Festival is a free annual event now in it's 9th year which celebrates Northampton’s rich music culture taking place from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st June and at over 15 participating venues and the town's Market Square.

Line-up

Expect 80 acts across 6 outdoor stages.

Market Square: Ground Floor, Kayanites, Sea Based Turtles, The 2 Tones, OhBoy, Sean Grant and the Wolfgang, An Escape Plan, The Deportees.

All Saints: Real Live Owls, Carly Loasby, Peter Marchant, Burrowing Bee’s, Paper Hawk.

Abington Street/St Peters Way: Amy Addison, Amii Dawes, Carl Spence, Rise Bailey Rise, Velvet Engine, Will Rogers, Scott Walters, Yoshe, Burning Candle Project, Ken J Nash, Jordon Herbet.

Guildhall Courtyard (Jazz Stage): Elevation Quintet, Mardi Gras Jazz Band, Northampton School for Girls Jazz Band, Ginger Pig, Take Six.

Classical Stage: NMPAT Classical Showcase, The University Of Northampton Requiem, Northamptonshire male voice choir, The Derngate Community Choir

BBC Introducing: Devotions, Tapestry, [sane], Century City, Leo Robinson, Lennoxx, Quadra.

Metal Stage: Benign Plausibility, Poison Zoomak, The Bophins, Point Of Extinction, Harmfool, True Heights, Obstruction & Die Rivers.

The festival will have pop up events and gigs taking place in venues and on town centre streets throughout the weekend, with the main festival Town Centre takeover happening Sunday 21st from 12. All events are free to attend.

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
