No Direction Home has been cancelled.

A statement from the Directors of No Direction Home Festival says:

"No Direction Home Festival 2012 was a great success and lots of fun. It also lost a good deal of money. Not more than we could cope with, but more than expected. We had planned for NDH to get somewhere near to breaking even in the second year, and that is now perhaps a tougher target than it was.

As such we have decided to take a year out from No Direction Home in 2013 to give us time to get our planning right, to create a fantastic line-up and to build on the feel that everyone liked this year.

The change will be a disappointment to everyone who has already bought tickets or was planning come along and we regret this, but overall we are happy with the decision. Welbeck Estate was pleased to host No Direction Home's first year, and is supportive of its return in 2014.

So, we will refund all the ticket buyers and we'll do so with as little hassle as possible. We hope you decide to come to End of the Road instead in 2013 if you are not coming already.

Refunds will happen automatically do not apply directly to paypal or google, they will take place from the 12th December. If you haven't received your refund by the 31st Dec, please email tickets@nodirectionhomefestival.com."

The second annual No Direction Home, a sister event to End Of The Road, will be held from Friday 31st May until Sunday 2nd June 2013 at Welbeck near Worksop in North Nottinghamshire, on the northern edge of Sherwood Forest.

There are no acts confirmed yet for 2013.

Tickets

Early bird tickets including camping are priced as follows: An adult weekend ticket £89, a youth (13-17 years) ticket is priced £50, children aged 12 years or under can attend free. A campervan/caravan pass is priced at £40. To buy tickets, click here.

As well as music expect all the sorts of things that you expect from the team behind End of the Road including ales, Somerset Cider Bus, food, cutting edge film, comedy, children's entertainments, a chance to make, do and discover.

Camping will be beside a lake with views of the historic Welbeck Abbey.

Expect also a programme of literary authors reading from and discussing their writing, cinema, and comedy, plus workshops, and more
