Mychoone Festival is a new annual event based in Tansley, nr Matlock, in Derbyshire. The weekend of live music and entertainment starts at 7.30pm on the evening of Friday 17th July and goes through until Sunday 19th July finishing at 2 pm.

The festival features live bands playing on a main stage including X Factor's Journey South. Plus tribute bands, on Friday night Noasis play and on Saturday night, it's the turn of The Beatles tribute band - The Blue Meanies, plus FooFighters Band and Greenday tribute bands. Playing Friday night are the Somethings. The festival will also feature local bands - TFX, Paper Planes, The Yeah Ducks, Cross Fire, Shoot The Poets, and more artists are being booked.

Tickets are priced at £14 per day or £20 for a weekend, children 12 years or under get in for free. To purchase presale tickets call ticket hotline 07711 042498 and get the 1st drink free at the bar when you arrive.

The festival will have food and drink on site, camping is free, and there will be other attractions including a kids corner, rides, bouncy castle, face painting, and more.
