This event, now in it's third year, is held in Wellington Country Park, in The Waterloo Meadow, an 80-acre site surrounded by oak trees, which it is hoped, will be gradually illuminated as the sun goes down. This year's line-up is as follows:
Saturday: The Cavern Beatles, Voulez Vous, and The Counterfeit Stones. Sunday: The Illegal Eagles, Rumours of Fleetwood Mac, and the UK Beach Boys.
The festival will finish with a fireworks finale.
Gates open at 5pm when people can bring and enjoy their own picnic. There will also be plenty of eating and drinking facilities, together with a hospitality marquee for sponsors and corporate guests, and a funfair.
The car park can accommodate 2000+ cars, with the capacity to increase if necessary. There is also a caravan park for those guests who wish to make a weekend of it. Family day or weekend tickets are also available.
