The dates for Lowender 2009 are confirmed as Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd May 2009, again at Colliford Lake Park on Bodmin Moor in Cornwall.
The acts announced to play so far include 80 Degrees, Redress (spawned from Sex Slaves From Hell), Mad Dog McCrea, The Vinyls, The Needletones, Two Spot Gobi, Hillside Heroes, Head Of Programmes, Fragile Sanity, Ryan Jones (The Hitchcock Rules), The Van Daniels, Out To Grass, Zetan Spore, Nicky Swann, Ice Cold Idiots, Rite On Cue, Chasing Faces, Steph Newton, Charlie Lou Parker, and Zamba, there are many more still to be announced for the line-up of 22 acts from the region.
The site also has disabled access, shower blocks, adventure playgrounds
in woodland and moorland settings and other side attractions. The festival has a licence for 1000 people in a safe family environment which folks have really come to appreciate. Dogs and under 5s go free.
Tickets are on sale, with discount offers currently available. Adult tickets are 10% cheaper up until Wednesday 1st April when they go to their normal price. (£40 each) Child tickets are only £10 each and are for people who are under 14 or under on the date of entry to the festival. Under 5s are free as are well behaved dogs.

As always, the price includes camping, parking and all the facilities of Colliford Lake. This year there will be more for the family then ever before including a silent disco, fire dancers, poi dancers, circus workshops, stalls, and traders. A section of the arena will also be undercover this year, as a precaution against bad weather.
