The second London FolkFest takes place from Thursday 19th to Sunday 22nd July 2012.

Line-up

Headliners are Alessi's Ark, Luke Concannon (formerly of Nizlopi), Brother and Bones, Skinny Lister, and Megan Henwood. Plus Emily and The Woods, Ilona, The Common Tongues, Pine Hill Haints, Felix Fables, Sam Beeton, Luke Jackson, Chris Simmons, Thomas J Speight, Indigo Earth, Jamie Lawson, Joe Corbin, Abigail Grey, Kal Lavelle, Jenna Bennett, Folk Alliance Night, The Coal Porters, Emily Baker, The Duplettes, Paper Aeroplanes, Francis and Boyd, and The Nest Collective Presentsacts TBC.

Tickets

Tickets are priced at £50 for all weekend events (panels as well as the gigs), £30 for all weekend gigs, with a day pass for Thursday, Friday, or Saturday priced at £20.

Sunday is a free event with children's activities throughout the venue and a jam session with acts who've previously played finishing with the Balham Ukele Orchestra.

The festival also offers panels with successful industry professionals, interactive master-classes and community initiatives. There will also be an official 'Free FolkFest Fringe' running simultaneously, with a daytime stage in the Balham community area, performances in local bars and restaurants and the return of the popular 'Stairwell Sessions' in the ornate staircase rising through The Bedford. With food, clothing and artisan stalls and spaces manned by local businesses, this will be a boutique festival experience.

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
