Lake of Stars Festival which takes place from Friday 15th October until Sunday 17th October at Nkopola Lodge in Mangochi on the shores of Lake Malawi, central Africa.

For four days Western and African artists gather at the festival for a musical, social and cultural exchange. The event has a music policy ranging from Afropop, folk and reggae to beatboxers and the best international DJs.

Line-up

The first acts confirmed are The Noisettes, Peter Mawanga, Sally Nyundo, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly., Aly Keita, Tinashe, Eddy Temple-Morris, John McClure, Afrikan Boy, Goldierocks, Mistajam, Mafunyeta & Area 25 Band, Mafiluka, Agoloso, Nyali, Mokoomba, Amahoro Burundi Drummers, Nanzikambe Theatre Group, Lulu & Mathumela, Waliko Makhala, Chiozo, Marko Sadik, and more. As well as the festival, Lake of Stars stages events all over the world to help fund the festival and raise awareness of the event and of Malawi.
