Two weeks of a mixture of rock, blues, jazz, samba, folk and world music in various venues around the island. For the full stage by stage line-ups, click here. The major event - called Rock Island - for 25,000 at Seaclose Park, Newport - includes a line up of The Charlatans, Robert Plant and Strange Sensation, Ash, Starsailor, Hundred Reasons, The Coral, The Bees, Johnny4 and DNA Doll. Other events include the Crazy World of Arthur Brown, and The Groundhogs, with Blues, Folk and World Music weekend on 8/9 June, and a Festival finale of Jazz and Samba on 15/16 June. Camping
An official Festival campsite is located within easy walking distance of the Seaclose arena. Getting There
Last year the ferry companies ran extra ferries after the concert had finished, with buses running to and from the ferry terminals.
