Now in it's 4th year, Horizon Festival in Bansko, Bulgaria is a 'Festication', offering a snow festival and a holiday from Saturday 12th to Thursday 17th March 2016.

This entirely dance-led snow festival will be showcasing over 100 international DJ’s backdropped by 3D projection and mountain side effects taking in 30 Parties across 7 days. Horizon Festival will have music from Noon to 6am everyday across 15 venues around the resort.

Horizon Festival offers one-stop-shop for accommodation, activities and the all-important festival passes at various levels depending on budgets. Packages for 6 nights Accommodation and festival ticket are from £175 and 6 Nights Accommodation, ticket and Ski Pass start at £245. Flights to Thessaloniki are from £60 return and to Sofia £80 return.

Activities

This festival is about so much more than just the music. Creating a truly unique immersive experience, the Horizon Festival team have created Hot Spa Cinema, Geothermal Pool Rave, Music Production Lab and The Hotel House Party.

Away from the music, snow lovers can enjoy 70km of relatively quiet slopes on snow sure mountains. Whether skiing or snowboarding, Bansko and Horizon Festival has it all for you, all within a very reasonable budget. Bansko is the perfect playground for beginners and intermediates with excellent tree runs and off-piste for the more adventurous. Added activities for ticket holders include the Annual Snow Games and the Mountain Paintball Wars – House vs Techno vs Garage vs Bass.

Getting there

Alternative airports near to Horizon are Plovdiv (Bulgaria) and Skopje (Macedonia) however organisers do not operate transfers from the latter. When booking flights remember that although the festival is billed from the 12th – 17th March, you can choose to arrive on the 11th, 12th and 13th..

There will be return transfers operating from Sofia and Thessalonik airport. The journey time is an average of 2-3 hours from Sofia and 3- 4 hours from Thessaloniki airport. Horizon Festival transfers will take you from the airport to Horizon Festival accommodations. Festival transfers include airport reps, Wi-Fi in vehicles, door to door service, English speaking drivers or on-board reps, vehicle fitted GPS speed and tracking.
